The user-friendly HTML format allows to you easily navigate between sections, enlarge photos and offers multiple viewing options like Full Report, Summary Report or Defects Section.

Your Report can also be downloaded or printed in PDF format.

We recommend keeping the Inspection Report as a reference book and a to-do list.

The Home Inspection process usually takes two to three hours depending on the size, age and condition of the property.  Additional factors that may impact time:

• Accessibility to areas that need to be inspected
• Weather conditions
• State requirements
• Additional services – radon test, mold test, water test, etc.
• Time spent answering customer’s questions during inspection

Your attendance is not required however your participation allows you to learn how your home’s systems function.  This knowledge is essential for further maintenance of the house and can be leveraged in negotiations with contractors when you decide to do further improvements and renovations.

• Clear entrance to storage sheds, attic, crawl spaces, basement, and garage
• Clear paths of snow and debris
• Keep pets in a safe location or remove them from the property if necessary
• Move objects away from water heater, furnace and air conditioner
• Provide all keys for any locked doors

New doesn’t mean perfect. New-construction homes are not free from defects and many of these defects won’t surface until after you’ve moved in. In addition to identifying defects in finishes, it is important to verify all service connections and systems have been installed correctly by the builder and trades.

Newer homes often perform worse than older ones depending on various conditions and build quality. Having your home inspected by a professional helps identify problems to be fixed by the builder while still under warranty.
